Presidential Forum at Howard University, June 28, 2007	Democratic Forum to be moderated by Tavis Smiley, the Democratic presidential candidates will participate in a forum about how they will address the issues of concern to Black America as it relates to the Covenant with Black America book.

March 17-23, 2007, HU Alternative Spring Break	500 Howard students participating in Alternative Spring Break (ASB) boarded 10 buses and traveled south to New Orleans to assist in the Hurricane Katrina reconstruction effort. Students represented the University as well as organizations such as the NAACP.

Student Business Plan Wins Award	March 16, 5 finalist teams including HU, Xavier and FA&MU. convened at the 2nd Ford HBCU Business Classic in Wash., D.C. to present their business plans during the annual NAFEO conference. 4 Howard freshmen came in 3rd, leaving with a $20,000 package.
